S-COR is Coreflex's uniquely flexible smooth high purity hose of Teflon®. S-COR starts with an ultra-smooth extruded tube of Teflon made with Dupont T-62 PTFE resin. This tube is reinforced first with a glass braid that is applied and bonded to the tube in a patented process. A second braid of stainless steel provides additional pressure capability and desired application properties for a high purity pressure hose. A white silicone cover over the braid reinforcement provides a smooth, esthetically clean cover that insulates and further enhances flexibility. S-COR combines the best material properties in a much more useable form. Smooth Teflon is the most chemically resistant material known. It's the easiest material to clean. Teflon is non-stick and non-aging. S-COR can be cleaned with steam, caustics or sterilized with any method within the temperature rating of the hose. Nothing offers a better flow rate per size than S-COR. Hose assemblies can be permanently marked and sealed with Coreflex's Perma-Tag™ sanitary tagging system. Perma-Tag is a permanently marked, molded silicone covered unit. Information is easy to read and stays that way. The tag information is totally sealed and designed to be smooth to the touch.
