Milwaukee's M12 right-angle die grinder is among my favorite tools. I bought one a few years back and have used it for almost every project I've taken on since then. I've dubbed it my Red Right Hand and recommend it to anyone who I think would benefit from owning one, which is basically anyone who does any kind of work on their cars. Right now, it's on sale at Home Depot and is bundled with everything you need to get the most out of it.
The only problem I've ever had with the M12 Grinder is how quickly it eats up batteries. Even with two in rotation, there's always an area of overlap where I need to take a break and let both charge up before I can get back to work. The Home Depot deal is on a complete kit that includes three batteries, one being the M12 XC High-Output 5.0 Ah battery. Even for the retail of $438, that's a great buy, as you'll get hours of continuous work out of the thing. Being marked down to $319 really makes it worth jumping on if you've been debating adding this tool to your collection. The straight version is also on sale if you don't want a right-angle head or want to snag both variants at a deal.
As for real-world performance, I've misused and abused this die grinder over the course of two years. It's done everything from cutting bearing cages, grinding down welds, and even porting an intake manifold. It's still trucking and is going to see plenty of more projects in my garage.
Even if you don't plan on going to the extreme, it's stupid handy for removing stubborn gaskets and general cleaning, and you'll grab it for basically any job you tackle after adding it to your collection. Heck, the batteries and charger that this kit comes with are a great starting point for an M12 collection, making this an all-around fantastic deal.
